“NETWORKING” – MORE THAN JUST A CHAIN OF MARKETERS

The New trend in global multi-level marketing of products (especially the sale of food supplements) by foreign countries that floods the Nigerian market has made it almost impossible for people to have a wide range of meaning whenever the word “Networking” is mentioned either in a conversation or in a write-up. Networking is believed by the majority to mean a situation whereby one has to register with a company such as GNLD, Tianshi, Longrich, Alliance Global in Motion, etc. and there after gets more people to register with promised of getting rich and other form of benefits from such company.

In the words of such companies, the more people one gets to register to purchased their products, the more the person's rank in the company and the more the commission by growing a chain of network. For this reason, many take to struggle to convince people to join the company where they belong and register under them, once registered, the struggle continue to get other people to register under them too and the chain of marketers continues endlessly. But the funny thing is that most times those who struggle so hard to get people for the companies never really get to the top to receive a car from such companies or even get a vacation to travel abroad to any country of their choice which is actually their main target of venturing into such companies in the first place.  This ‘Networking’ concept in our society today has narrowed down the thinking of the many and the perception they have about the idea of networking in general.

However, the word “Networking” has been defined by the Oxford English dictionary as “interaction and exchange of ideas and information, as a business strategy or to further one’s career”.

This explains why our organisation, Business Women Networking Ltd proudly has the word “networking” as part of its business name. True to this name, our organisation provides excellent opportunities for its members to network together and share ideas through women membership forum, seminars, retreats and conferences among other services.

During its series of training, this organisation provides women of like minds the opportunities to share ideas, experiences, serve as mentors for other women, get help with their business plan and connect with investors and partners, we even offer our members a start-up interest free loan to help their business. Unlike the above aforementioned view of the majority, the word "networking" in our organisation means bringing business women of like-mind together to share ideas that will develop their businesses, we do not require any of our members to register a number of people under them to reach a certain level; once you are a registered member, you are automatically entitled to discounts on all the services rendered in our organisation plus networking opportunities with other women and many more benefits! So what are you waiting for?

Why not join us today if you are a business woman or is thinking about going into business and becoming an employer of labour?  Those who are not of these categories are equally not left out. Your world will be better with us. "Think it, we create it"

Therefore next time you hear the word ‘Networking’, pause for a while to get the full gist. Do not quickly jump into conclusions for previous knowledge of it or dismiss it as one of those foreign companies looking for members to register and gain commissions!  For our organisation, it’s more than just a chain of marketers!
